"Fantastic location with everything as described in the brochure. Pool was clean and just the right temperature. Downstairs was one massive living room/dining room/ kitchen. No shortage of crockery, glasses or cutlery. Table was easily big enough for all of us to sit round for a meal. There was endless hot water and despite 9 grown ups having showers no-one had a cold one! We survived without cars - the beach, supermarket and several restaurants within 15/20 minutes walk. Local taxis reliable and not expensive. Fantastic open air restaurant "Lučica" 200metres from the villa overlooking the bay.."

"We (me and my 3 children (18+)) spent our holiday in the luxurious Villa Hera on Lumbarda. After a stressful few months at work and school it was exactly what we needed, to really relax and unwind. The villa is really well equipped and lovingly furnished down to the last detail and is decorated very tastefully. The rooms are very spacious with all bedrooms having en-suites. The large open-plan kitchen is a beautiful space where we all gathered regularly and is really well equipped for cooking any kind of meal. The local beach is within walking distance and perfect for morning visits and at the end of the day we usually relaxed by the large, beautiful pool enjoying the fantastic view of the sea. Meals on the terrace are a must and after dark we sat there with a glass of the local wine and watched the stars in the sky. The hosts Rachael and John gave us a lot of good tips for excursions and were available to answer any questions, provided advice for day trips and made our stay as pleasant as possible. We had an unforgettable holiday."

"Die grosszügige Villa am Hang mit traumhaftem Meerblick bot uns alles, was das Herz für einen stilvollen Strandurlaub begehrt. Wir waren beeindruckt von der edlen Ausstattung, die sich von den Schlafzimmern mit hochwertigen Betten und eigenen Bädern über einen offenen Wohnbereich mit grosser Sofarunde und Kamin bis zur Inselküche erstreckt. Oft haben wir einen Snack auf der beschatteten Terrasse eingenommen und am Abend auch mal den Aussenkamin angefeuert. Der Swimmingpool mit den hochwertigen Liegestühlen bildet das Schmuckstück der Gartenanlage, der perfekte Ort zum Sonnen, Lesen oder sich einfach Treiben lassen. Sicher einmal am Tag machten wir uns auf den Weg zum familiären Sandstrand, wo sich auch ein nettes Bistro befindet. Ein Highlight war für uns die kleine idyllische Felsenbucht nebenan, die das Schwimmen zum reinsten Vergnügen macht. Eine schöne Abwechslung ist der 10- bis 15-minütige Fahrradweg in den sympathischen und authentischen Dorfkern von Lumbarda. Dort gibt es Kaffees, Restaurants und an manchen Tagen Markt mit frischem Fisch. Auf dem Nachhauseweg kurz beim Weinbauer im Nachbarhaus vorbei, der seinen hervorragenden Wein direkt verkauft. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder."

English Translation: "The spacious villa on the hillside with a fantastic sea view offered us everything our hearts desired for a stylish beach holiday. We were impressed by the elegant furnishings, which extend from the bedrooms with high-quality beds and private bathrooms to an open living area with a large sofa and fireplace to the island kitchen. We often had a snack on the shaded terrace and lit up the outdoor fireplace in the evening. The swimming pool with high-quality deck chairs is the jewel of the garden, the perfect place for sunbathing, reading or simply letting yourself go. Surely once a day we made our way to the familiar sandy beach, where there is also a nice bistro. A highlight for us was the small idyllic rocky bay next door, which makes swimming a real pleasure. A nice change is the 10 to 15 minute bike path to the friendly and authentic village center of Lumbarda. There are cafes, restaurants and on some days a market with fresh fish. On the way home we briefly stopped by the winemaker in the house next door, who sells his excellent wine directly. We would be happy to come back."
